Many Nigerian students graduate without practical skills or exposure to life after school. This hands-on experience gap leads to dependency, job struggles, and career uncertainty.
Our Response:
- On-campus employability workshops on career development, industry-specific skill sets, branding, and personal growth.
- Interactive mentorship sessions with industry experts.
- Training on entrepreneurship for those interested in self-employment and business ownership.
Our Impact Goals:
- Equip undergraduates with essential skills for workforce readiness.
- Inspire students to transition seamlessly into employment or entrepreneurship.
EmpowerHER Financial Literacy & mentorship: Elevating Women’s Potential and Economic Inclusion
The Challenge:
In Nigeria, women still face barriers in education, employment, and entrepreneurship. Limited access to opportunities and entrenched societal norms hold back the potential of millions of women. Even though women account for a larger percentage of MSMEs in Nigeria; financial literacy and inclusion for women-owned MSMEs poses significant challenges to the sustainable growth of businesses.
Our Response:
- Capacity-building workshops on entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
- Mentorship and access to funding for female entrepreneurs.
- Advocacy for gender equality and breaking societal limitations.
Our Impact Goals:
- Enable women to achieve financial literacy and independence, and lead in business and governance.
- Drive gender inclusion and advocacy for equal opportunities.
- Inspire the next generation of female change-makers.
